Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with the center hatch of my Outback. The steel pin (roll pin) which attaches the hatch handle to the latch mechanism is sliding out of place. The handle is now a little loose, and the steel pin sticks out and rubs (grinds) against the surrounding plastic when I turn it to open or close the hatch.

Anyone dealt with this issue? Recommendations?

Thanks!

Yak is about 2 years old I want to say.

This is just a stock pic from the web, but the pin I'm speaking about is the one you can see above. I think I can probably wedge it back in place with a flathead screwdriver, but have no reason to think it wouldn't just happen again.

Maybe I should take the boat in and see what CCK thinks... Not sure if this could be covered under warrantee?
