NACIMIENTO: The white bass have been boiling in the mouth of coves in the mornings and evenings and thee have been some very good catches made on Roostertails and Kastmasters. Most are about a pound. Spotted bass have been fair on plastics and jigs during the day with some crankbait and topwater fish early and late. Quagga mussel inspections are now required before boat launching is allowed. Anglers need to think cleaned, drained, and dry or they are likely to be denied access. Information: marina at 805-238-1056 or www.nacimientoresort.com.

Yeah I know. :smt012 Hopefully the mods will consider adding it to the "Zone" next year. I will bring it up when the time comes. Its one of the closest lakes to us Central coast yakers with A good variety of AOTY fish species.

I miss fishing that lake... I remember 30, 40, 50 fish days kayak fishing for spotted bass out there. One time there was snow on the ground and we were still catching fish on Zara spooks and Sammies...

Sounds like a reasonable request to me.

Is San Luis Obispo county fish eligible for AOTY consideration?
