The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing kayaker in downeast Maine.Tony Cashman, 45, of Ontario, Canada was last seen around noon Saturday near Fog Island. He was with a group of six kayakers that were paddling from Isle Au Haut to Marshall Island. The group reported him missing after he did not arrive at Marshall Island with the rest of them, according to the Coast Guard.The air and water search involves a helicopter from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, a Coast Guard motorboat from Southwest Harbor, and a Coast Guard Cutter.Searchers will be looking for Cashman throughout the night and into the morning hours.The Maine Marine Patrol is assisting with the search.
