Launched from Lake Houston Marina this morning with a fellow kayaker. Was wanting to do a little bass fishing. However since I read the water was muddy all the way to 1960 bridge. I knew I better have a backup plan. So I grabbed 8 jugs and some beef liver just in case. And I'm glad I did. Because there was absolutely nothing hitting lures all along the shore under boat dock, logs and brush.
So I decided to toss out my jugs about sun up. And then try some lures close by.
Ended up with 3 descent cats to take home and threw back at least eight 12 to 13" cats. There seems to be a lot of them right now.

First GoPro video and a wobbly camera pole. It need Velcro to quiet it down. I didn't get the 3 on camera. Because I forgot to turn it on lol.

Took them home and cleaned and cooked.
I would link a couple pictures. But the site doesnt let me. And uploading fails.
Should not have to jump through a hoop to share a linked image on an awesome site like this.
