Police seek information about stolen canoe

MURFREESBORO - Rutherford County Sheriff's Detective Richard Brinkley is seeking information about the olive green Frontier 12 Nu-Canoe and fishing gear stolen Sunday night from Steven Patrick Conklin of Melstone Court.

Deputy Scott Parker met with Conklin who reported he last saw the canoe and gear about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

He noticed the canoe, two fly rods with Orvis reels, waders and accessories missing from his home near Mt. Tabor Road off U.S. Highway 41 South (Manchester Highway).

Anyone who has information about the location of the stolen property is asked to call Detective Brinkley at 904-3045.
