Injured Kayaker rescued on Belle Isle

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A man is now being treated at the hospital after a water rescue out on Belle Isle.
Officials tell us around 10:39 a.m. Sunday, a man was out on his kayak when he injured his left arm. They say he was able to make it to some nearby rocks and call for help.
Crews with Richmond Fire were able to reach the kayaker and bring him back to shore by 11:28 a.m. Sunday. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
