To early for cabin assignments?

Grab a partner and a room when we board the boat.

He had a live squid pinned to a mega-bait, I believe.

Unorthodox, but it worked for him.....

Bushy

I think it was TWO live squid pinned to a jig!

What was Joe using when he got his WSB? Live bait?

He had a live squid pinned to a Tady on scramble egg color.

I've heard WSB are lazy and will hit a 2 squid jig over a 1 squid jig because same effort = more food.

Might this bode well for June at Clemente?

http://www.bdoutdoors.com/story/local-yellows-nibble/

“The bite's pretty consistent, with 20 to 40 fish a day. The little ones are around 12 and the best fish around 40 pounds. It's mostly been a jig bite on yoyo iron. A good color has been mint and white but no particular color is that much better than the others. Larger jigs are getting the most bites, like the full-size Salas 6X and the Tady 4/0."

Thanks for the link! It'll be worth keeping an eye on. The two Islander trips I've been on were a total blast and we didn't get into any decent YTs on either trip. I can only imagine how f***ing dope it would be with a decent YT or WSB bite.

Jason, if you ever come by Livermore again can I borrow your Tady?  Thanks.

Disappointed afterwards that the YT and WSB did not show up last year but the Calicos, whitefish and Hali's made up for it.  Can't wait.
