Breakfast at the Buoy Club

A rite of passage for paddlers in the South Bay and beyond, the R-10 buoy- whether you’re jumping off of it, left shouldering it in the Catalina Classic, or using it as your turn around point on a training paddle- has become iconic.

After spending so many mornings at the buoy, paddlers Jack Bark, Max First, and Rob Parucha created the “Breakfast at the Buoy Club” a few years back, and we figured it was time to make it official.

Many paddlers know that “breakfast at the buoy” feeling; having a cold gatorade and a bar before turning back around and heading to shore before the sun is fully up. Whether your favorite way to round the buoy is with a quick powerbar and a swig of water, some Tylenol before heading into the last 10 miles of the Classic, or cruising by it on your boat with a beer at sunset- this shirt is for you!
