My first attempt at editing a Vid so go easy. The music is just generic stuff from the editing program on my pc. Still trying to work out how to add my music.....but probably not everyone will like that! Got heaps more footage so I will keep working on it.

The Board is a DEEP custom 7'6x25.5x4 79litres. Set up as a quad. Quobbas in the front and stock DEEP fins in the back. Awesome board!

What an excellent stoker. You've got skills there man. And the music went great with the slow mo edit.

Everyone tells me you have to have your paddle on the open wave side when riding backhand. You are a great example that you don't. Once I change to the open side I lose flow. Great vid.

I guess that would depend on the size of your board though, wouldn't it?

I mean, im a big (fat) guy and there is no way im on a 79 lt board... i need the paddle to get the nose around...

Learn to do it both ways, its better to have the paddle do the work on small or fat waves, where as you only need your upper body rotation and foot work for bowly and more punchy waves ??

Having the paddle towards the foam is not "not using the paddle". Backside, it means not having the paddle to help the bottom turn, but having it to help on the top turns. I also have the paddle on my frontsize on backside waves, I do not need the paddle on the bottom turn, but it comes handy to help on the top manoeuvers.

Oh cheers. Yeah board looks awesome .I have been pondering getting a custom JC pro model board for a while. The biggest decision is the dimensions. Would love to hear more about your board if possible, as your dimensions are very similar to what I want to get but it's hard to come across someone who actually owns and rides a board under the 80 litre mark. Any info would be awesome cheers

I can hand on heart say that its the best SUP I have ridden. It allows me to do stuff ive tried on other sups but have had limited success with. I have always found Sups hard to bottom turn properly , especially when bigger and the DEEP allows me to do that. I will PM you my number and would be happy to discuss the board with you.
