10-11-19 update. The end caps for the parking are now just holes in the parking area. The slabs of the new ramp have been placed in position and a diver was installing some sort of holding pins.  Shoreward of these slabs will be redone so that it is a smooth ramp, the new slabs have roughly the same roughness as the old ramp (so slipperliness maybe the same as before?) The float  attachment points have had the frame work removed.

10-18-19 update. They just unloaded the 52’x4’ ramp for the school side. There are three floats (20x8’)(60feet long total) that are going to be each side of the ramp. The holes that were the ends of the parking have been mostly filled in. No work yet on the bathrooms. Also noticed that all of the old fencing on the wall is gone (had not noticed before)

10-25-19 update. The floats, pilings and 52’ ramp are installed. Doing prep work on the upper end of the ramp for new concrete. They are marking for the bathroom foundation.

Great stuff!  I've only been there twice, but hearing and seeing what's going on is wonderful.  Thank you, Martin!   :smt001

I wonder if they will be dredging as well to allow launching of boats when it's a very low tide?

Can 20' boat launch after the upgrade?  This is cool!  Please keep update.
thanks
Unfortunately they are not dredging a channel so you will still have very little water at low tides, high tides or close to that should be no problem.

No pictures today🙀. They finished the top of the ramp (cement to join ramp to parking lot level). They are starting to lay out the sidewalk position from the ramp towards the bathrooms. Bathroom area laid out prior to actual foundation work. They are also getting ready to put gravel outside of the ramps as filler/wave action reducer (which we know the mud will cover some of). Nothing yet for the ends of the parking areas.
