This week, Josh Riccio breaks down drafting. This 8 Week plan is to take you from the recreational level of racing to an intermediate level. If drafting is done well, it really makes the race goes by faster. - Single File Line. - 2 Feet behind the tail of the paddler in front of you. - Sync your paddle stroke to theirs. Etiquette does come in to play. It is sportsmanlike to share the load of drafting. Switch places with the pack lead paddler from time to time.
