That's the exact same one I recently bought.  I have yet to hook it up but have been using a smaller 12mA version for two seasons now.  I get about 4-10 hours depending on FF settings and if a livewell is attached.

I got Eddie on these and he's been running an FF and livewell for roughly 7hrs on one of these type batteries.

Did you modify yours and bypass the adapter?

Do you think they sell an 18000mAh(18Ah) this cheap?
Just the battery cells will be well over that price.

Let me explain how this do this. It comes with six 3000mAh, rate at 3.7v.
When you add/convert this to 12v, it’s only a 6000mAh(6Ah) battery.
Plus you don’t know if they use a high quality cells.

Buy a Nocqua battery if you want lower Ah legit lithium battery. If you need a higher Ah, check one of mine. I also back it up with 18 months warranty.

Yes, I modified the connectors to work correctly with my FF or any electronic I need.

To reply to Chet's comment, I highly recommend Chet's units because they are a legitimate high quality battery and well thought out set specifically for our hobbies.  Plug N play, and go fish.
But for those willing to trial and error (and save a little money), then I don't see anything wrong with purchasing one of these units and DIY the wiring.

Those batteries are designed for jump starting and not for continous discharging which a FF requires.

I bought one for cheap and hooked it up to see what I could get out of it. It seems to last about 4.5 hours powering my older elite 5. Kinda nice having a percentage readout but I was surprised at how fast it dropped.

My concern with the lithium battery is the risk of fire especially during short-circuit. Maybe a good idea to have put them in fireproof boxes or somewhere safe. There has been too many news about Electric cars catching fire.

On the bright side, you'll already be on the water so at least the fire won't get too big.

Yeah, no bigger than say 3' X 14'.  I'd say that's a small fire.  Of course you'd be swimming!  Hahaha

Lithium batteries slowly discharge in the event of water-based shorts. It's likely to render the battery useless (but still dangerous if the cells are later punctured) but a fire hazard would be low.

If you've got a charger and aren't spooked by the risks, each of these packs should run a Hook2 for ~6 hours each.

An optimist!

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePo4) batteries don't have that issue, and these are good ones:

thanks for the info. 6 hours of battery time is more than enough for most of my fishing situations.  I did some research. The typical power consumptions is ranging from .75A to 1.1A. So an 6 AH battery is a reasonable capacity.

I just wanted him to feel better about the potential fire hazard he was concerned about.  :smt005

Honestly, the battery catching fire is the last thing I'd be worried about but thats just me.

On the plus side, it can also be used as a defibulator...
