I just ordered a Radar 135 in a paddle configuration. That means a foot controlled rudder and no peddles. I want to get a kayak with a lawn chair seat and Wilderness has always had the best seats. I like that I can upgrade to the dark side and get a peddle drive for it or even get an electric motor. The hull is designed to be super stable and work well with either propulsion system. It should be rigged and ready to go with plenty of time to take it to gimme shelter in May. I can’t wait.

They paddle great! You will want to get the pedal drive though. Such an amazing difference! Hands free and cruising around without getting arm sore and tired. Welcome to the radar club! :smt005
Come on out! It's time to play. It's time for TROUT Bass and STRIPER. Let go of the hand brake!

I test drove the pedal a little bit. I think I’ll have to get my legs in better shape first, not to mention save a little more money.  :smt002

Hahaha, I bought a bike trainer machine and trained like mad for the month or so I waited for it to get here. Still cramped up solid after the first 7hr run :smt044 thought I was superman. Found out I was rubber band man. cramped so hard there was tearing in leg muscles and bloody bruising for weeks. So if you get the pedal drive. ease into it :smt005 So easy to get carried away. Love my radar. hope you have a good experience with yours.

I got it yesterday. I think this is the best color, at least of the ones they offer now. This thing is big and super stable. I saw a YouTube with a guy standing on the very front of the bow. What fun! Making plans and rigging a new kayak.
