High possibility I'll be there late. How long were you guys planning to stay?
Barring anything unexpected I'll stay till I catch one or the end of the outgoing tide. Once the tide changes it will be harder to paddle upstream.

Well I didn’t make it to the end of the tide. There wasn’t any action and it started to get cold. Being up till midnight last night didn’t help either. I just couldn’t sit out another 2 hours waiting for the tide to slow down knowing I had a brand new kayak at home I hadn’t even got to look at yet. Next time I’ll be able to kick back and take a nap while I wait.  :smt044
It was good meeting some new guys. I wish there had been more of a bite after you all made that long drive. Maybe next time.  :smt006

It's Sturgeon fishing. Some days you catch them, most days you don't. At least you gave its try.

It was very nice meeting you Ken. I'm glad I got to try out my new anchor and definitely will be back to try again.
We stayed and called it at 4PM. Everyone we talked to most thought it was slow all around. A few did managed to pick up some stripe bass.

Grats on the new yak btw  :smt006
