Vero Beach Boat Show is Nov. 17-18

The 35th annual Vero Beach Fall Boat Show will take place Nov. 17-18 at Riverside Park in Vero Beach. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 17 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 18, those who love the boating lifestyle, or would like to learn how to get into it, are invited to come see the newest models and latest products from scores of manufacturers and local vendors. Admission and parking is free.

The Vero Beach Boat Show takes place in the fall and again in the spring each year on the grassy expanse of Riverside Park just off state Road 60 on the east end of the Barber Bridge. Visitors are welcome to see everything from standup paddleboards, kayaks, personal watercraft, shallow water skiffs, outboard-powered catamarans, center consoles, cabin cruisers, pontoon boats, jetboats and outboard motors. Dealers from Indian River, St. Lucie and Brevard counties will be on hand.

Local marine businesses will be displaying boat lifts, canvas and upholstery products, eye wear and other marine accessories and equipment. The boat show will also have members present from local boating clubs, the Vero Beach Rowing Club, local marinas, yacht clubs and boating assistance businesses, marine financing and insurance representatives will be on hand. The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Florida Atlantic University Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute and Vero Beach Power Squadron will have information about upcoming boating safety classes, how to register for a free vessel safety check and what citizen science programs are underway. There will be daily kayak fishing seminars by Capt. Drew Mixon of the Hobie Kayaks Pro Team. Visitors can float test kayaks and paddleboards. Food and refreshments will be available.
