I am getting close to pulling the trigger on a new Outback or Coosa FD.  I feel like I know enough about each but I still can't decide.  So my question to you guys, if you had to choose which would you choose?

What type of fishing would you mostly do? Bait fishing at anchor, bass fishing, etc?

I prefer ocean fishing but also hit local lakes and the delta.

The fishing part is easy, it's the dropping 2500-3000 bucks that's the hard part.  I tend to over think large purchases.

I know what ur saying but I’m only bias against the outback cause I had one, coosaFD has a reverse so that’s cool I like the layout of the Coosa.  But if you threw in the idea of a revo also. I’d say Revo all the way...

The revo is great for a lot of stuff but id say the outback is a better if he wants to fish lakes too. I have a revo and its not great for bass fishing and stuff like that

Have you had a chance to test paddle both in the conditions you expect to be in the most?  Once you do that, you should have a preference.  On the water is where you get to form your own opinion and you get to ignore what you have read and heard from friends and faceless online posters.  Good luck and enjoy your new yak  :smt001

^^^ This!  I suggest that you try speed, stability, comfort, and layout.  Rank those to your preference.  Once you get one, don't have any regret, be one with your yak!
