So, what's everyone's thoughts/opinions on a GoPro setup for a foil
Alright, having now been inspired by so many of the accomplished video journalists here, I'm now reconsidering my thoughts on getting, and using a GoPro to share just a little more of the action going on out in the water (even if I don't video myself... ).So, what's everyone's thoughts/opinions on a GoPro setup for a complete videographer neophyte who doesn't necessarily want go "all in" right off the bat just in case it doesn't go too well? Now when talking about a "setup", I'm talking not only camera, but the best/safest ways to attach it to self when foiling, so as not to injure myself primarily, and/or camera, board, or foil secondarily.Folks here on the forum are talking about wanting to see more pics, and vids....so here's your chance to possibly get one more out in the water if the price is right, and the attachment contraptions aren't too complicated.
"gettin' in" costs are about $325-$350 for camera, and necessary paddle and/or hat bill accessories for hands-free filming?
always a little leery about buying electronics used.
Shoot, I keep looking at that "painting", and now I want one just to do things like that.
Had both GoPro 5 and 6. Until I lost my 5 on the downwinder In terms of video quality there is no difference between two. Great video/images. Why I am sticking with 6 is that amazing electronic image stabilization. 6 almost looks like you are using a gimbal. And the RAW photo capability is just awesome on those cams.
