So after a long time looking I finally found one on Craigslist! 2016 Kraken 15.5, and he never put it in the water! I'm super excited to get this thing rigged up but have a question regarding the transducers on the hook 4. I was wondering if they would fit recessed in the transducer Scupper, or if I would be better off mounting it inside the cockpit " through hull"?

I asked on the Jackson team page but so far no response. I know my ray marine transducers fit well into the transducer scupper hole, not sure on the lowrance

I put mine through hull when I had the kraken. I am sure it's possible but I couldn't find a way to get it in there with it being completely recessed. Through hull will always be a way cleaner install. Do you really need water temp? I had a hook5 but it's more than likely the same 'ducer.

???  My Lowrance and Humminbird thru-hull mounts both give me water temperatures that are 6 degrees and 5 degrees off, respectively, from the temperatures I get with a bulb thermometer.  They are slower to respond to temperature changes in the rivers, but they work fine.

Cool good Info  ..... I ended up going the lowrance scupper mount. Had to put a dab of goop underneath the transducer to keep it from moving around.
