The weather forecast leading up to the Rollins Lake Roundup kayak tourney for the next 10 days is perfect. I couldn't ask for a better setup for this lake, no rain, a high pressure warming system for the next 5/6 days and then a comfortable low. The water will be clearing up beautifully, the fish will be flooding the bank and eating everything they can over next weekend. Partly cloudy, light winds and 66 - 68 degrees, perfect fishing/ camping/ smores ;) weather.

ONLY 2 days left to Pre-Register for $25.00. After Saturday it goes up to $35 and you need to register the morning of. This event is 100% payback. We will also have a Hobie demo day and free bbq lunch.

I know a few of you have been waiting to see what the weather is going to be like... Green Light!! Come on out and join us it's going to be beautiful!

I'd like to Thank some of our sponsors - David Caddy @ Hills Flat Lumber, Hobie, Lowrance, EGO nets, Yak Attack, RAM, Scotty and BransonBaits.com

Just reading through all your rules. I was DQ’d because I left the check in area. Well if that was the reason I was DQ’d then every person who did not stay right in that area should've been DQ’d as well the way your rules are written. I know for a fact almost every person stepped away from the check in area after they filled out their score sheet just like I did to load their kayak. Also by your rule I was present to verify my fish. I never left the venue and walked right up to the table to show you. No where in your rules was there a specific time to have photos verified by either. I guess you should enforce the rules the way they are written for everyone.

This was total bullshit and everyone knows it. I was at check in on time and had to get my kayak off the boat ramp.

I showed up to win and that’s exactly what I did. The only person that beat me at this tourney was the director. Edit- found out Brigham actually got me by a couple inches.

The one rule I was looking for was the 50 yard rule that you are so quick to tell people at other tournies even when there aren’t.

Tournament Rules:

• Each angler is required to fill out their own scoring sheet accurately and honestly.
• After reviewing all the score sheets we will announce anglers to come up. We will verify the anglers score sheets and measuring boards shortly after 2:00pm check-in cutoff. Do not leave the check-in area until notified to do so.
• You must be wearing your wrist band during your score sheet verification.
If you are not present to have your photos and score sheet verified, you will be disqualified.

Not following any of these rules will result in instant and complete disqualification.
All ties and discrepancies will be decided by the tournament director. Know these rules before competing!

Dude that sucks bro.  Sounds like you did leave for a valid reason.

Did I read it correctly.  You got DQ'd and the tourney director took the win?

Sounds like it was a total bitch move.

Just curious, why do people continue to support these events after all the bad rep in the past?

While we're at it, I have a good question.  Whatever happened with the last LRC tourney pot money after the tourney was cancelled in the morning after people already launched?  I know a lot of people were curious and it was never clearly addressed about what happened with the prize money, hopefully it was given to PIF.  It sure as heck doesn't belong to the tourney director.
