After much procrastinating, the River Surf Report is finally in the Apple App Store for iPhones! Doing a quick search for “River Surf Report” should bring it right up. Here’s a quick demo of some of the best features:

River Surf Report App

The power of this app is in the ability to filter the reports by the flow and see what the wave looks like. You can also see when the reports were made, which gives you a good idea what time of year is best for the wave.

Of course, this only works if there are lots of reports for all different flows. I will be creating reports all season, and I’d love to get as many other people creating reports as well. The signup process is super simple, and the report creation is easy as well.

Even if you have old photos and can remember the date and flow for them, you can create reports in the past. Just tap the “Set report date” button, and manually set the date and time of the report, as well as the flow.

And if the app doesn’t have your favorite wave, let me know. I’ll get it added ASAP.

This is very much a Version 1 of this app. There are many things that I plan to add (notifications, flow predictions, smart filtering) so keep on eye out. There will be more updates coming soon.
