Each year American Whitewater comes together for our annual Board of Directors meeting, hosted by
one of our stewardship directors near a river in their region. Our stewardship staff spends a lot
of time putting together presentations to our Board which detail all of the stewardship projects
they are involved in and the stewardship issues they see on the horizon. The event is meant to
keep the Board informed on our progress and to help identify areas where they might be able to
help. The breadth of these presentations is impressive but it also makes them something we
don’t generally share outside of the Board meeting.
Seeing all of the work American Whitewater does across the entire country at once really gives a
true understanding of how much good work we do as an organization, and we’ve been trying to
figure out a way to share those presentations with you. What we came up with is this: A
round of slides with three of our top projects in every region, plucked directly from our
presentations to the Board.

supporting affiliate clubs for funding this important work!
