If 2011s -> Sweeet!  R2s are the best pow skis I have been on for Whistler.  Kinda crappy ok on piste -> but the best ever GS for me were the old red top 205 P9 Volkls.  Bomber like on rails those things.  Full trench carve.  But could not flex them at all in bumps.  Typical pro con situation especially for a lightweight rider.

katana 191's a few years old, the black and green ones--i like a more conventional snappy rocker--cambered even, most of the way out the tip and tail

crave big pow, but never really embraced a skidding surfy pow style--prolly my racing backround

thread got me to daily squatting/wall sits (not just before a ski trip!)--might be i shd do this more and more, as I age, and notice the quick disappearence of muscle when inactive

No Way! You’re a long way from carcass state!

I’m 64 and my late 50’s and now my 60’s have been some of the best years of my life. Definitely more aches and pains, but far from carcass state   :)

Just got back from Cypress.  Conditions were def nice today provided you went OOB.  Had plenty of untracked fresh with the supreme R2s.  In little bumps the 190s actually work surprisingly well if you zipper and blast.  When bombing the tails carve nicely to scrub speed.  Def very forgiving -> but when cranked they hold a solid edge to bring you around.  Crud and chopped get blasted no probs.  Absolutely zero chatter.

Crazy good on soft obviously -> but certainly no POS on piste.  For me as a lightweight those things charge for a big mtn pow design.  But gotta go -6 back to firm up the tail and give better float.  Short and long radius no probs even when a bit icy.  But def not a super gripper carve machine like my B5 Metrons.  For a fat boy these things rock.

Camber is the key to this ski on piste.  Surfy in the pow -> but does not skid when carving.  But gotta stay dead centered for these things to work properly.  No catapult like the B5s off the tails.  More smooth operator.  This is the perfect all purpose mixed conditions ski for me.

Skied a pair of Hart bump skis and they were by far -> massively far the best for that.  Allowed you to go straight into a bump and they would absorb like a sponge.  Zipper no probs.  Now not like Bilodeau.  But close.  Haha!  Yeah major dreaming.

Now away from bumps they were complete crap.  Could not hold an edge at all.  Felt like skiing on noodles as they shimmied left and right.  They would not allow you to go straight or carve.  Ones I tried had almost zero torsional rigidity.  Was a major eye opener tho.  The right skis matter for different surfaces.
