you won't be disappointed with one of Supsports bags and your board won't suffer any dings. I have flown  my 8'7" Jimmy Lewis Kwad in one of his smaller bags a number of times and not a scratch and the bag still looks good as new.
their bags are well thought out with good handles well placed, interior compartment for fins, leash etc and really top quality zippers and pulls.

Yeah, unfortunately Wardog just PM'ed me and he's out of stock and having some manufacturer issues in the US, so still looking.......

Sorry to hear that. Good luck with your search

Pro Lite split bag is $99 on Amazon right now, I got one, they are super well made if you don't mind a 2-piece race bag. https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Lite-Session-Split-Race-Touring/dp/B00TIXSOLW/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1508370705&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=prolite+sup+bag&psc=1

Yeah, so Vitamin Blue quoted $530, that's a bit much. The split bag is just too big, and probably too narrow. The SUP Sports bag look perfect if they were available.

Anyone have any luck with the Dakine deluxe roller? I'm mainly only worried about weight with it.

My two cents is go with a Topless Board Bag, they stay on at 70 mph+, provide protection where needed and weigh a lot less than the full bag, and are much easier to put on and take off. Having used the full zippered bags when you go through a heavy rainstorm is not a good experience, especially with a 14 ft. board.

Don't need a bag for driving, I'm 5 minutes from the beach and go roughly 40 MPH tops getting there. I need one for air travel, 1 board, 2 paddles, clothes, etc.

Oh, and this is purely for a surf-oriented SUP, so in the 8' range.

Ouch!  Sorry to have mentioned them - that's pretty insane.

I have a bag from Wardog, but I never use it.  Hey, I want my boards to last a couple years, not forever  ;)

The $530.00 quote from Vitamin Blue is for a surf SUP wheeled coffin travel bag. You can get more info here http://vitaminblue.com/blog-wheeled-coffin-travel-bag/
