The gift that keeps giving! He's a generous but stormy fella. Nice riding and conditions, Nova.

Those are LARGE waves!
Jersey delivered tday, Wed, 9-20. Over the falls and down the line for me. Felt the juice.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Nice big waves from Jose. And it looks like you'll get some more if Maria follows the same path.
Blue Planet Duke: 10'5" x 32" x 4.5" @ 190 Liters (2 Dukes)
Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters

No, don't say that. We don't want Maria to follow the same path. Jose' was too close to shore for us.   :'(

New England is getting the waves but also the wind along with it. It sucks.

Looks like it worked out awesome for Nova Scotia though.

Jose' will be parked over Cape Cod for almost a week, so nothing for us but erosion.

Sometimes you just have to get in your car and drive.

Here was my reward for Jose' RI road tripping, with only 7 people out!

and a bit less wind in NYC surf a few days earlier

Must have sounded like a torrential downpour behind that wave in the first pic Creek!  Wow!  Serious offshore breeze!

The wind blew so hard offshore yesterday that it totally blew out the swell...even with Jose still spinning off the coast SSE of here the swell is quite small.  Of course once the wind relaxes that'll change a bit....thank goodness!

I'm hoping Jose sends a pulse into Cape Cod bay when he eventually heads north....weird that it's just hanging out off the  south coast....never seen that before.
Supposed to get very big from Maria mid next week

Jose' is heading West after it spins itself out over Nantucket.

Maria is on the classic surf track for the North East..... eat your Wheaties!

I think Maria will be good for surfing on the eastern seaboard. Far enough away from the East coast to not cause any damage, but it should produce good waves for surfing.

I think New England could start seeing swell from Maria as early as Sunday. Jose' will be over and done with by then.

Looks like possibly an entire week of awesome surf ahead as long as the local wind cooperates.
