Absolutely clear that the CNC Mirage 25cm is the winner. It is also the fin that Travis Grant uses in his NSP's, and is now standard in all of the NSP race boards.

That is a big fin!
I have been dusting a similar G-10 fin for my Vapor. Long, slender, weed, limited flex...
What I have found is that it was faster by a little bit but the ride was not as nice, which kind of defeat the purpose of this kind of board.
I am getting back to testing fins with a bit more flex.

I am delighted to report that the tippiest race board EVAH has been sold sold sold!

May the 2015 Starby Race enjoy it's new owner. Big props to Kayadog and Paddle Board Rhode Island for taking it in and SELLING it.

Was getting ready to post it here, but not necessary!

Thanks O Limitless One!

And here is a pic of the 404 on a little 6.5 mile training session.

Finished fifth in my class at a local race in North Kingston RI. Still old and slow. FUN though!!

Yugi, Missed your post. I agree that their website is not the best!

But their fins aren't any more expensive than Maui Fin, VMG, Black Project, or other designer premium brands - at least here.

Well, I entered the Newport Sup Cup in the 14' Men's Short Course Decision.

Finished fifth and was close to the guys who finished third and fourth. First and second way ahead.

1. 23 min.
2. 24 min.
3. 29 min.
4. 30 min.
5. 31 min.

Very stable in boatwakes, faster than I realized. Aggravated a bunch of competitors as we turned Goat Island to be greeted by three sets of boat wakes.

BOP Go-Go surfs very well. BiggieRat knows how to surf! Passed a gaggle who didn't know how to surf boatwakes. Sayonara!

PDLSFR fresh from his CCBC crossing took it for a spin and felt it was a little faster than the 14'Bluefin.

KDOG and lovely wife (smoked the women 12'6" class) were there as well as many well known racer types.

Beautiful day, great conditions.

I like the Go-Go. Wish I had the stones to try a slightly narrower version, but I am doing very well on Big Green!

And now to figure out the best paddle. Not sure if my Mana 82 is the one. Have tried Trifecta, and will try Black Project. My Ho'Olua not the one for racing.

My next project is to resolve my paddle uncertainty. Am not sure if my Mana 82 is the one. Have tried the Trifecta and will also try the Black Project.

With my Garmin and the app can finally obtain real data.

SORRY FOR DUPLICATE POSTS! TRIED TO MODIFY WITH EMPTY NO MAS!

IF THERE IS A WAY LEMME KNOW!

Sounds like a great board. Will have to give it a try sometime soon. Why even bother with the narrower one
when you'er having so much fun on this.

As for the paddle, try the ZRE, 80 SQi would feel easier than the Trifecta 86 but generates more speed.
The Black Project had a similar feeling as the Mana to me only not as much power.
in progress...

News flash! It will downbreeze really well. Stand back and ride the wild surf.

Had fun with Matt and Jamie from the Pumphouse. 6 miles in a ENE 10-20 wind. Short period wind chop heaven.

They were both on much narrower LTD models. We all felt the Go-Go would be better in the ocean. We were out on Pleasant Bay.

cool

I'd love to hear more about the LTD vs the GoGo.
( I know Bluefin, V3 and Joy or comparison

Did I remember you feeling the LTD wasn't so fast back when you tried it?

Very Nice!  8) Yet another proof that low volume works very well in all conditions without
sacrificing speed.

Dani showed it very well in PPG and reading about your escapades it is very clear that rough
water all of a sudden become a source of fun for you, even at your big size if I recall correctly.

How low on the water do you sit?

Nice. Sometime little bumps when you do not expect to get anything can just fill you with joy :-) specially as we are getting into the fall/winter season.
Also interested to learn about LTD and Go-Go. A friend of mine that tried them in SOCal, said that they were notably slower than All Star and other similar offer. He is a bigger guy, 200 and 6.2...He is however a long time user of the V3.
