It all came together yesterday for me as I had my first down the line flights in the surf.  Super stoked! 

Seeing Beasho's thread I felt like I was missing out and chomping at the bit to get out and try foiling on my simsup. This is my second session on this board with the foil.

The more comfortable I get on the foil the more my eyes are opening to the possibilities, looking forward to my next sessions.

Great video and commentary! That spots looks pretty good for foiling, had your own little peak. You'll find yourself improving every session so keep at it.

Great stuff glad you are progressing fast, I jealous I wish I had waves like you to practice on they look perfect for a bit of foiling! I'm having to put up with windblown crap until the winter storms and swell come back in November.

I noticed you say you struggled with carrying the big boards, I never put a handle in my first boards but found all you have to do is flip the board up side down and you can hang the foil over your shoulder and you can almost carry the board hands free!
