My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Well they say cooler weather and chance of rain Sunday. I am an old wuss so I need sun on these old bones.

The 7th it is! I just remembered that the Rollins lake event is the 6th, so 7th is best in case any Rollins competitors want to join us at folsom.

Sunday forecast is high of 68 and windy. For those who haven't done this before the idea is to wear the gear that you plan to wear on the salt.  Bring a dry bag if you have one. They make a great counterweight for people who tend to flip their kayaks when re-boarding. It's probably an old technique, Sean Morely taught a few of us the drybag counterweight trick at his self rescue class, and I much prefer it to paddle floats etc.

I also recommend that you keep your decks clear of rod-holders etc., particularly if your immersion wear is neoprene. I would hate to see someone rip a new wetsuit or drysuit.

This isn't really a class or anything, so we are depending on a few guys with some experience helping out guys who might have less experience.

What time do you guys wanna do this?
