How about it I've seen a few posts showing interest in these beasts
Use it our collection of knowledge we should be able to find a suitable location and maybe even do a pool for biggest fish
Besides what else is going to bring such joy this time of year
glade you made it
now let's get our fish on

+1.  Get your QRAS going prior to launch, make sure the holding point is either at the bow or stern.  I had my anchor tie smacked down in the middle and I drifted with my yak perpendicular to the tide.  Even after 10lbs worth of weight, I was still drifting (albeit slowly).

Ive got a heavier 2ft chain on my 7lb anchor.  Might even be 3 ft.

I switch out my 2 different anchors I have a Sand spike and a claw chain is attached and zip tied for emergency release if it gets stuck .but the best tip I can give you is use thin diameter rope (less resistance in current) and add a bouy about 2 feet away at least anuf to run off the back of Kayak and a quick release caribiner :smt001

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan
