A record 800 competitors took part in the Singapore Canoe Marathon yesterday at the Singapore Sport Hub's Water Sport Cenre. Organised by the Singapore Canoe Federation, the event featured 44 categories. Liaw Ann Lin, 11, was among those who took part in the Kid-in-a-Kayak Programme.
