Dinner with the President-elect.

Looks like Mitt is choking on his pride and Trump is loving every minute of it.

After viewing the photo with Trump and Romney, I wish I could have been a "fly in the voting booth" on November 8th to see who Romney actually voted for president.

Romney is a joke as he was so outspoken against Trump now he's so quick to jump in bed with him to score himself a better DC position, typical political whore !!!

Romney is like the bully that always made fun of the dorky kid in school until he got a pool in his backyard.

Now they're best buds.

Or, maybe Mit is being a man about it, accepting the reality with grace, and joining the winning team.

There are two realities in play. First, no one is who you think they are. If one of us sat down with a politician we hated from afar, we'd be charmed and impressed by some of the facets of their personality. Been there, done that, though in my case, I'd be looking at those profiteroles on the table and trying to figure out how to get more than my share.

Second is political pragmatism. If you wander too far from the fire you never get back. Never.

Politics is the art of the possible. Nothing is possible if you're too far from the seat of power. Whoever said there are no second acts in American life was talking mostly about politics. If you're going to stay in play, you need to stay and play.

Romney sure had a weird look on his face after leaving the first meeting with Trump. And is it true that Romney helped the mormon ex CIA agent run for president in Utah just to f*ck with Trump?

"One of the key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace, good people don't go into government." Donald Trump
"The worst thing that can happen in a democracy - as well as in an individual's life - is to become cynical about the future and lose hope." Hillary Clinton
"Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies." Groucho Marx
"To rely upon conviction, devotion, and other excellent spiritual qualities; that is not to be taken seriously in politics." Vladimir Lenin

I thought it would be nice to hear from Trump, Clinton, Marx and Lenin

And let's not forget what former head of the CIA, William Casey, once said:
“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”

But did he say that?
