Got my new breathable caddis northern guide waders coming in the mail today to keep me dry during these colder months. No shoes yet and would like opinions.. It will be mainly used in my yak & I have no real plans to be river wading in them at the moment.. after some searching I've settle on river sandal or water booties thinking the boots might be bulky and unnecessary.. Thoughts? Opinions? Thanks in Advance!

I like sandals, like Tevas. I have a Teva like pair I got from Wally that have served me for many years. Get a pair that will fit over the extra material. I use the same rule of thumb of 1 size up as you do with wading boots. I also will use wading boots when it is really cold.

I use Crocs or booties depending upon the ground surface

+1 same here.  I got my Crocs two sizes larger than my shoe size.  Plus they are cheap.

I use my old tennis shoes with my drysuit and waders.  I just pull out the insoles and loosen the laces.  The neoprene wader socks make things a little snug, but not uncomfortable.  Comfy and great traction for all types of terrain. Of course, I now buy my athletic shoes in WIDE in anticipation of using them as my 'yak shoes after land use.  :smt003

If you want your waders to last don't use sandals, low shoes or Crocs you will get sand and rocks in them and wear holes in them unless you use a concrete ramp. Dive booties or flats wading boots that match up with the gravel guards on the waders.

I wear Astral Brewer water shoes over my drysuit. If they just made one size bigger, they'd be perfect. Size 13 is just a bit too tight for me with drysuit and socks. But still way better than anything else I've tried. Only down side is the price...
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...
