Welcome if you even hit up Hennessey let me know. I am the caretaker there and talk to everyone daily so I have a good idea about what's working from day to day.

Thanks everyone! Hey Napa friends, you can launch at the Napa Yacht club and paddle around to the Napa Valley Yacht Club and fish in calm water. Lots of Stripers in there!
Maybe we should plan a Napa kayak meet.
Welcome ! I'd be in for a Napa River meet. Kennedy Park would make a good FnC spot even.
  I'm down. Great place!!!

Thanks! Hennessy used to be my little trout paradise. Lately not so much. It's sad. Did hit it a couple months back and found some bluegill, crappie and bass.  I miss the trout though. Would love to talk to you.

Thanks again everyone.
Gabe and I launched from the yacht club the other evening and paddled to the marina.  I picked up a Striper trolling a rattle trap then got one later throwing a swim bait. Gabe got two on a fly rod. Looked like too much work to me. He is young and energetic, I'm older and like to sit on my butt and drink beer while I fish.
I will try to put together a little Napa meet up in the next week or two. I'll start a new thread to let you all know.

I would be up for a meetup sometime as well.  Still need to grab my license at Sweeny's.

My wife, 4 year old daughter and I have been putting around Hennessy w/o fishing, but I'm pulling down rods and tackle box from attic dusting it off to see what's left/trash.

It's missing the largest guide-eye, but I think I bought it in the late 70's:

Hey Sunburned, I might have some extra gear for you.
I took the kids out in our "big boat" today at Hennessey. Just to putt around and eat lunch. To my surprise got into some trout trolling and brought home three beauties and lost a bunch at the boat.
The King is alive!

Nice!

I appreciate the gear offer.  I think "King" setup advice would be even more valuable to me.  :smt001
