I believe STr8fishin does guided Salmon trips in the HMB area.

if you think an actual motorized boat is the way to go then there's really not much use asking for advice on a kayak forum.

Nah.

I was just screenwatching like normal, but I felt compelled to talk about this.  There isn't any real reason to dis on a guy who wants to use a trolling motor for whatever reason.

Who's dissing?

I stand behind my words, but I don't care to do the Kaber's Court thing as a threadjack.  :smt001

That has never stopped me before.

OP is rightly getting stripped down for this after his gawd awful goodbye post, I just don't want people throwing out the baby with the bath water. There's a couple LCKA regs who use motors on their kayaks. Guys that I like and that I fish with. They don't post here much but I would not hesitate to give them anything. I've also been with both those guys on long paddles without motor assist and seen what it takes out of them. I get not allowing motors and sails in tournaments but just because they use them at other times doesn't matter either here or there.

Kangaroo court is one of my favorite posting strategies. I'm not as good at it as, say, bmb, but I don't think I'll stop now.

Don't be Jason going off on how SIK are far superior and no one else is doing "real" kayaking.

He he he!   :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

That line was for you Allen. Glad you liked it. Although in general I gotta say I like the guy, grandiosity and self promotion notwithstanding.

Ulisesv,

Besides the tons of information here, I emailed you some salmon tips from Coastside. Don't know if I can post it here so to be safe, sent it to you via email.
Enjoy!

Going Fishing?
Winds from the south, hook in
    the mouth.
Wind from the east, bite the least.
Wind from the north, further off.
Wind from the west, bite the
    best.

If it was a tv show, I would totally watch Kabers Court.
Or, at least, screen-watch it.

I think we should have a section on the site called Kaber's Court.  Now THAT would be entertaining.
