Was going to clean and snow seal the father in laws RV roof but it turns out it is way beyond fixing and will need a replacement. I got till the 3rd of September to get it done, new rubber on the way as well as an "install kit". Has anyone done one before that can spend some time on the phone with me going over the ins and outs of it. .. .. .. This will be a tear off off the plywood and new put down with only 2 roof vents and the new sewer drain vent going back on. Paying $5000 or up for a shop to do it ain't an option as we're both on fixed "inadequate" SSI incomes

Did you google it? Lots of advice on YouTube and the Internet in general.

Check out RV.net website forums.  They have a lot of sub topic areas and I'm sure your issue has been posted a dozen times.
When you do post on there, give all the information; year, model, etc of the RV, the type of repair materials you already purchased, anything you can think of that will allow them to give you a useful reply.  Details matter!
Also, they can kind of be asshats over there and tend to argue over stuff like 'what brand of roofing is better than another' etc.  Stick to the topic, post photos and read carefully what is being recommended technically while ignoring any side comments and you'll have all the experienced help you'll need.
Good luck!

P.S.  Here is a link to the general forums over there;

Here is a link to the area most likely you want to post your request for advice;

Very good resource.  The side comments are the best.

Sorry I don't have much advice on waterproofing but if it were me I'd consider  bolting in some mounts up there for a couple solar panels.  You've got the structure open and can waterproof those the right way while you're at it.  Just a thought.

I would suggest making sure you have a bit of a crown & pitch to the plywood you lay down before the new rubber roof material goes down. I'm assuming you're laying down a single piece/roll of the rubber roof material?

Heng.  Beats the shit out of the expensive, complicated Di Cor stuff.  Prepping the roof is most important.  One step with Heng.  Done two RV'S with it.  It kicks ass.

Thanks for the replies, looked at "YouBoob" and there rather short and undetailed. We are crowning the roof and may use unglued iron or square tube steel. Side comments you say.... Like that NEVER happens here or on NWKA? We pick up the new one piece rubber roof and 6 sheets of 1/4 inch plywood today. I'll definitely post up progress reports.

First and foremost BIG PROPS
to our own Hdwipmonkey for coming over on this hotter then hells campfire afternoon and helping me get he the framework and 3 front panels on YOUR AWSOME! We got the trusses all framed in and strung and all but one section of the new skin is on. I'll be needing to rustle up a couple of hands for next week to get the rubber glued on, any volunteers? The sagging inner paneling will be screwed to the new trusses. It got damn hot today. Thanks again Hdwipmonkey.  :headbang:  :headbang: :headbang:

Got the membrane on but due to sagging the metal edge trim pieces are pulling up at the edges so we're going to put an aluminum strip down the top edge to keep it in place.

I can imagine the feeling of accomplishment with these pics.  I have some vintage barber chairs to repair and it can be done!
