What time does the gate close at night? Is this going to be a storm trooper weekend? Is the Hobie demo rain or shine? Hope to make it up there

The forecast I read doesn't show anything worse than chance of showers this week. Will camping reservations be lost if the date changes, or can they be changed?

There were a bunch of waterfront spots roped off yesterday because they were flooded. But what a great campground.

Great day on the lake. Another 20+ Bass day. But not in the same areas as Sunday. I caught five or six on crappie jigs in the trees. Others came on 4in leeches (pro worms) smoke purple flake and smoke Blue flake on a mojo rig on 8lb line. Caught my biggest fish on the rock wall area just to the left of the launch ramp. We should have a blast this weekend.

Prefished today with Caddy Chris. Great guy!
Well gents it's WFO! Between the two us we scored close to 40 bass (LMB, SB, SMB) and 1 crappie sdr. Bass are fat and feisty and hitting everything... Well almost. Water temp reached 62 and a bit warmer in the back coves.

This weekend will be fun. I'll be ready to get some more Sat morning. We've got a few in for MBF crappie, who else is in? What time should we get that started?...Ron?

Tim Crane from Hobie is bringing the trailer w/ all the big guns for the demo so it should be a great time. Come on out. Bring yo wife, bring yo kids! David Caddy, owner of Hills Flat lumber will also be out there with some demo deals, get some!

Ok, here it it is! We start at 6:30 sat morning. Check in, my camp site 4pm .... Launch and GET THOSE CRAPPIE! remember, Crappie NOT bass are the target here. Best 3 Crappie will be taken, Measured, cleaned and fried! Use a live well (5gal bucket) if you wish to release them after they are measured (aerator suggested) Not a photo, release event... Trout and bass will interfere with your Crappie hunt. They will be worthless at the check in table (trout will be good eats though) there are some meager prizes. One that I make for fire.... some lures... Time with friends and friendly competition are the real prize. The lake is beautiful and with the long fishing time, breaks and demo hobie time can be worked in.... MBF can be deposited with Me. I will not be in the chase and will measure fish on my shortened hog trough (18" baby!!!!!) I'll be on the radio and can check them in during the day (so you don't have to drag them all day. Once checked in... Fish is one of your three... 14" or better is good! 18" is a winner of a special prize and probably the MBF pot!!! See ya all sat morning.

What time will the gate be open? I'm bringing my fryer along with everything to make hush puppies. I'm also thinking about bring last years losers from the angles camp jubilee frog jumping contest. Don't plan on going hungry.
