Today was an entirely different bug...
Foggy, Surgy, Some Bigger Sets, Drift...

Caught some bombs and paid for some of them..

Got violently keel hauled a couple times with the waist belt and heavy leash (no give)

Almost no one out...

Yesterday PM looked pretty nice from 41st Street Santa Cruz.  Big waves, but with good intervals of 15 seconds, long open faces and some peace between sets.

I thought I might go out this AM, but dense fog and a very tossy, rippy looking Steamers Lane when it came into view
made me wait.

Fog kept coming in and out, only variable visibility, weird, never got out because of no decent tide time or apparent visibility.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Feb 13th was the day I exited CA! Same deal in Encinitas w/the fog...but it cleared but around 11AM. Some really nice size waves. I'm glad I got to see that before I left for New Jersey.

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
