I am a avid whitewater boater, both playboat and creek boat, and may be moving to Geneva, Switzerland in a month or so. What is the boating scene there and where can I go to get good information?

there is [urlhttp://www.eauxvives.org/fr/[/url]

It is specialized in France, but Geneve is not that far from france, so maybe you can go into France for some paddling.

There is an english flag on top for the english page, but i don't know how usefull (complete) it is. Otherwise, learn French of use a site translater ;)

Thanks, the French site looks great! After I take my language immersion classes this summer,, I should be able to work my way around it. From what I can piece together, the Rhone down toward Leon looks like it has some very nice play spots with big wave/holes. Any idea how the creeking is in the area? Also, for those that have boated in both areas, do you prefer the areas around Zurich or the French Alps?

Thanks!
