Hello Everyone,
I have an 18 day Grand Canyon River Permit set to put on October 31st. I am looking for a few experienced boaters/safety kayakers to fill out the trip. This is not a commercial trip, and everyone who comes must have all of their own boat/equipment as well as competence in big water and a willingness to pull their own weight. I recently lost my most experienced boater who had been down the grand many times, and I myself have not been down into the canyon. I expect the trip to cost around $700 to $900 each, and am planning on having the food outfitted. I am based in Telluride, Colorado which is where the meeting and planning of the trip will take place. I am excited to meet some new folks.
