hey everybody names Luc, just joined the community looking for some info. i grew up in michigan right on the river and have been kayaking all my life with my dad. im in the air force currently stationed in san antonio, tx and have wanted to kayak whitewater ever since i started kayaking river. so im not too familiar with creek boats. im looking at the dagger mamba, and the liquidlogic jefe. i want to run rapids, but also be able to go on a nice long float. are these 2 good options for me?
thanks

Although I never paddled both kayaks, I think you can't go wrong with both.
I've alwaysbeen a fan of Dagger because of their quality outfitting, but maybe this vid with the LL Jeffe helps you:

Did youcompare them?

if you click on "detail page" you see a review of both kayaks. maybe this will help you. Good luck and have fun in the kayak you choose!

I agree; never paddled either boat but I know both are quality crafts. The Dagger Mamba seems to be a bit more popular boat for a beginner than the LiquildLogic Jefe which is frequently used for advanced 'steep-creeking'. You may be interested in the Mamba for having a flat 'planing' hull (tipping sideways less frequently than the round hull on the Jefe.) Try both and see which is more comfortable for you! Hope you enjoy this awesome sport.
