I'm an amateur white water kayaker and I'm planning to get my own equipment but i'm not sure what to get.... Any advice?

the only useful answer i can give based on the little info you gave would be: buy some used stuff you can get your hands on.

Well, i'm trying to get some sort of freestyle boat... or any smaller boat that can move around quickly and easily... and any specific equipment that would go with that....

if you can afford a new boat, you can just demo them all and then choose. if you're on a budget, I think you should keep your eyes open for a used Disco. Inazone may be ok as well. all very versatile and friendly to learn in.
