The ICF in conjunction with its Canoe Polo Technical Committee is delighted to announce that Conti are now the Official ICF Canoe Polo Ball Sponsor, having signed an exclusive four year deal with the ICF. This will mean Conti balls will be used at all the World and Continental Championships from now until 2014.

The third 2010 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup will round up this year's competitions. A tough course, the stretch of water is swift and merciless and even the best of paddlers have to push beyond their limits. At the outset, the first gate at Augsburg is an upstream gate off the first drop, it’s perfectly positioned along the right-hand wall and is ideal at fouling the unprepared and unlucky. In order to navigate this, the athlete must first achieve the right combination of speed and angle. The margin for error is small and the fact that the water moves inconsistently and irregularly makes for exciting races.

It's Round Two of the 2010 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup, this time the best Slalom paddlers in the world come together in La Seu d'Urgell; site of the 2009 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships and the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992. The Parc Olimpic del Segre in La Seu d'Urgell is ready to accommodate the 267 athletes from 39 countries who will hit the water this weekend with demo runs and opening ceremony on Friday 25th.

The 2010 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup in Vichy had gotten off to a great start, with fast races and around 47 countries in attendance. Today, the athletes, organisers and the public were treated to some exciting races. With better racing conditions than Friday, many athletes were looking forward to the 1000m finals. Other athletes prepared for the 500m heats and semi finals later in the day.
