Kira Tenney Nickname: Kirs State/Hometown: Sun Valley, ID USA Favorite place to paddle: Chile Accomplishments: Kayaking throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Uganda, keeping up with the boys once in a while, instructing at the US National Whitewater Center. Playboat: Rad 180 Creekboat: Mystic Favorite River: Nevados, Puesco, and Maipo rivers in Chile, Green River, North Carolina, and... I guess I can't choose just one... I'm sure this list will forever grow and change depending upon where I have the privilege to boat on a particular day- I'm pretty psyched just to go kayaking. Favorite Waterfall: Garganta del Diablo, Rio Claro, Chile Favorite play feature: Garburator, Ottawa River, Canada Interest outside of kayaking: Skiing, yoga, running, cooking, writing, dancing, laughing, getting my butt kicked while playing outside with my family, and spreading the word about the importance of protecting the places that we love to play and the communities that live in these places. Kayaking is: A love and an addiction that has brought me to experience some of the most unique and beautiful places with some of the most unique and beautiful people.
