Description
Hundreds of cliff swallows flying at high speed at the outlet of the Red Run Underground Retention Basin in Warren, Michigan. They appear to be feeding their young in nests built underneath the concrete pillars supporting the Dequindre Road Bridge. Temperatures in the tunnel are about 10 degrees cooler than the outside air.
