New for 2015 the Cobra 6’6 started out as a custom board for a legendary river surfer from the Potomac River in Washington DC known only by his code name…Cobra. The idea behind Project Cobra was to create a short, higher volume, river surfing SUP that would shred the smallest, tightest river waves out there. When the calls started coming from other members of the Potomac Badfish Crew asking when they could get their own Cobra we knew we were on to something. Shorter, wider and thicker than the 6’11, the Cobra has a reduced chine similar to the MVP series to keep the nose from tripping when turning across tight troughs. With a higher volume tail you can put all of your energy into turns without subbing the tail out and falling off the back of the wave. The Cobra is evolution of the River Surfer series making those smaller days on your home river more fun.
