The following is the write up from Smitten By Cycles Facebook page, www.facebook.com Pedaling after a global water education. www.smittenbycycles.org Brant and Lauren's Two Wheeled Adventures We are leaving this June to bike across the US--from California to New York City. We will be heading through the middle of America, through Kansas, and Kentucky among many other humid states. (Fourth of July should be interesting in Kansas, right?). After three months of biking with various family members across the US we pack our bikes in boxes and fly to Hong Kong. We want to bike south towards South East Asia, writing and photo-documenting how different communities get clean water: where it comes from, how they get it, and how it is purified. We are hoping to learn a lot about this precious resource. As young citizens of this planet we are curious, eager to learn, and eager to help create a more just global community.
