After Scott Northup flipped his kayak in episode 9, I thought this was a good time to talk a little bit about some basic concepts for staying safe while you chase your next trophy fish from a kayak. From cold weather tips to essential gear for making sure you can get out of any hairy situation, I go over some simple stuff you can do to make sure you make it home from every outing.
