Kootenays Part II: Play (Two Dudes Six Boats) - Last Summer we were fortunate to have massive rains bring up the Columbia River to levels it hadn't seen since the dams were put in in the sixties. While in other parts of BC roads were washed out, basements flooded and bridges ripped away we merely watched the river rise steadily to unseen heights. This is 6 weeks of playboat bliss compressed, Mike Grant and I probably averaged four days a week out there while still working full time. To anyone who didn't catch it: You missed out!.

Kootenays Part I: Creek - Instead of once again doing the same "me" promo thing at the end of the season like I did in the last years, I figured I had such a good time with so many different boaters around the Kootenays, Alberta and Vancouver Island that I'd go for a less selfish approach and throw all kinds of footage in. Out came a very unconnected but hopefully fun enough mash up. Thanks for a wicked 2012, looking forward to go bigger, better and more often next year with all of you fools! Thanks to Fluid Kayaks and just recently Core Paddles for the support! Shot on Panasonic HDC TM 700 and contour Freestyle edit will follow when I can bring up the motivation to not ride the hill and dig through hours over hours of footage instead....

One Ride - With the highest waterlevels on the Columbia since it was dammed in the 70ies we were lucky to be able to hit Industrial Wave for almost two months. This is just a short edit of my last ride before levels dropped down. I hope I won`t have to wait another 40 years til it comes back..
