Dave Joyce running the first rapid, which you shouldn't run, on the Injusuthi River. He is RIGHT next to the entry to a siphon... He lost his boat when he swam at the base of this drop. Mark Basso found the boat in another siphon downstream a week later. Then lost the boat on the final rapid and it lies in another siphon now. Rescue mission this Saturday! We found the boat. By a miracle it had gone through the siphon and lay on the bank, waiting for us to pick it up. The boat was nicely damaged... Photo by Adrian Tregoning.
