Renovating the wave. February 21st 2006. Looks like the new wave will be sweet, and wide again!
Not very spectacular, I know, but this will give you an idea of what it's like at low levels (112 qms) in 2005. Just about enough to front surf; perfect for beginners. The upper wave has a lot more action at such levels...

Renovating the wave. March 2nd 2006. New eddy river left. Not sure if the eddy on river right will still exist when the water comes.... Also not sure what that big is rock is doing there just behind the wave.

After the renovation. March 10 2006 @ 180 cumecs: Oops, where has the wave gone? Oh, and indeed, the good old eddy seems to have gone as well. The new eddy on river left is OK, but there'e no usable wave on that side either....
April 16th 2006 @ 220 cumecs. It's getting a bit better, but there's still no eddie. At least the surfers can walk up again. Kind of ironic, considering the Swiss Canoe Federation paid for the renovation......

After the renovation. March 27 2006 @ 160 cumecs: Ooops, still no useable wave. The good news is that the upper wave in Bremgarten is running again...
After the renovation. April 14 2006 @ 195 cumecs. The wave looks a tiny bit better after a flood or 2. Still no eddie though....
