so guys, you want a forum dedicated to ireland?

it's no big deal for me to make one. i just want to be sure that people will use it, cause inactive forums are worse than no forums....

and so your task would be to actively use it and to motivate others to join in...

if you really want it, just convince me (en masse) that i should create an irish forum....

and ps: feel free to invite others to push for creating this irish forum :)
If you're happy, you're successful.

Yeah I would use the Irish Forum, I am from Letterkenny and was part of the college, unfortunatly I have finished college and had to stand by while we got whipped. : ( If you can also swing it to have more accesible manufactures and bigger choice of boats brought in to Ireland and not at complete rip of Ireland prices then that would be fantastic or just great. Hope you other guy had a good time if you were in Letterkenyy last weekend, I did.

Does anybody know of a fair dealer in Ireland that has a good range/ brands of kayak gear and boat, the web is turning up much. Oh and if you are selling organs make sure and replace your lungs with gilles, you could stay in a hole all day long and not worry about drowning. Thats a bit far but anyway. See query above.:blah:

What kind of boat are you after? Most people in the north west use Coast and creek if you are after a boat thats not on the web site just e-mail Chris(owner)and i would say he would be able to get it in for you,Or check out the Donegal Canoe Club website they have links to dealers or e-mail them and they will tell you where to go

Hope that helps
Or did I miss the point completely:think:

Sorry to butt in here gents. Those prices make my eyes water and my heart goes out to you chaps. :-(

Just a side note. I saw today that Scottyr is selling a small Fluid Flirt for only 206 Euros. Still is very good condition!

Your boats are SERIOUSLY expensive. :stop: A new ZG here costs only 777 Euro.

Hey, could you send me a new ZG for that price to Ireland, or would it be hit with custom duty vat and any other taxes one can think of when importing goods.
:scared:  :frustrated:

Hehehe. Not a bad place to stay at the end of day. Weather is a million fold better than yours. ;-) Come and have a look. You'll be 9.27 times richer with your Euros...

The shipment cost would be pretty high, and then it would be nailed with import tax. Probably cost more. And then you've got to ask yourself, would you trust me with your money!
